At a Republican Reagan Day Dinner in Holland on Tuesday, Huizenga launched into a long attack on seniors and working people with kids who attended a recent debate, calling them “Deadheads,” “shameful” and “third- graders.” Huizenga complained that too many people attended a 2nd Congressional District debate in Newaygo between him and Democratic nominee Dr. Rob Davidson. The Republican compared his constituents to “Deadheads”: “You all know what Deadheads are, right? Deadheads are the folks that travel around, following the Grateful Dead. Well, we’ve got the political equivalent with my opponent.” Huizenga went on to compare his constituents to elementary school children: “It was quite shameful, really. They acted like third graders. Now, maybe third graders might not have acted quite that way.” Huizenga has been under fire for outlandish campaign spending. A campaign finance complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) was filed against Huizenga this month for using his campaign account for personal benefit. “It’s clear that Bill Huizenga is feeling the heat from the backlash over his lavish, D.C. lifestyle. And he’s showing just how out of touch he is by attacking as ‘Deadheads’ and ‘third- graders’ the very people he’s supposed to represent. The people of West Michigan deserve a member of Congress who will respect them and listen to their concerns, not someone who makes it clear he thinks he’s better than them,” said Michigan Democratic Party Chair Brandon Dillon. but he's not wrong
Constituents aren't supporters, they're the people of the region he's trying to represent, regardless of political affiliation

It looks like his face is photoshopped to look in a different direction than his head.
He looks like Daniel Craig's less successful brother with a drinking habit.
His jaw looks like it mandates planning permission whenever he travels.
No politicians are.
Yeah. I don't like either American party one bit but the Democrats don't immediately draw comparisons to Nazis the way that the GOP does
that's a logical fallacy
That the GOP can pull things like this can still get votes is pretty damning for this country. Yet the Democrats failed at confronting corruption to the degree that it deserved, instead they borrowed everything bad about fiscal conservatism and try to cover it with a gauze of social policies that they don't effectively advocate for, either. I hate this. I feel like voting blue is an obligation at this point but it doesn't feel like I have any real choice.
Most* While it's definitely true that most politicians are scummy trash human beings it's not globally true nonetheless. There are those who actually do try to do the best for their constituents that they can.
Honestly it looks like he has some of the signs of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/239718/432b7162-6bb8-490c-85e8-dfb291dabe51/image.png
