So days ago, the former 2017 French first round candidate and little more radical version of Bernie Sanders, Jean-Luc Mélenchon was arrested over allegedly but possible misuse of European Parliament funds. And here's the aftermath.
And here during raids seen here:

Is this the guy who spoke about the weird bear and Larry Skywalker, or was that another guy?
Just to clear up the headline, Mélenchon is a leader of one of the french far left parties, France Insoumise, not all of french left, which is incredibly divided from moderate neoliberal left to multiple communist parties.
I can empathize with his concerns that the presidential majority will pluck from his secret files for having seen Macron's men at work, as well as worry about the legitimacy of the whistleblower and the people who looked into the claim.
But his claim that the whole ordeal is politically motivated sets a dangerous precedent which Le Pen will be able to use to put her own police investigation in contempt. Also, a few problematic notions have slipped by him in his response to the search with the same megalomaniac tone he's had since his days of parti socialiste.
As always, solidarity with those who aren't afforded due process and are subjected to police harassment. But, like, take a chill pill dude. Not a good look right now.
Like theirs any prove that was case? But if so need in both in French and English new articles in neutral first and the positive and negative secondaries?
are you serious
Im having issue understanding whay youre saying here
I dont support Mélanchon or anything. I'm giving context who he is cause the title made it look he was the leader of the whole french left when nobody is. He's far left, not moderate left, like Bernie would be in France.

The english page only lists the parties that make up the Assemblée Nationale. French page lists all french parties.
Have fun
Yes, And why he can’t question about this?
Please to which
Thanks but according to English Wikipedia, his party is currently left-wing and French Wikipedia is currently Radical left, which not purely close to real far-left political parties in your politics.
Dunno what to tell you, Mélanchon is the leader of a party on the far left of french politics, nobody in that party would disagree with that, I personaly know multiple people who voted for him so i'm pretty familiar with what they want. If you dont trust my word, or wikipedia, do some research on your own? I think its pretty obvious that french wikipedia would be more accurate about french politics than english wikipedia.
Ngl im not sure what youre trying to say here.
Why would you ask someone to correct spelling errors when your own post is littered with them?
Actually I’m say it’s not same but your French version of Wikipedia page have literally two separate sections of Radical left and Far-left.
Did you of people while ago I said have Autism, This is problem that I most of time can’t control with. And I can try but not right now after doing my personal job in my area.
Look, I get that, and I'm well aware of it, but the French guy's post are honestly more comprehensible to me than your own and I just feel that... glass houses?
I mean if he saiding based on personal experiences and being critical on him, that’s fine and my personal toned will be ok but I’m trying a spread from Pro-Melenchon side with foreign newsites helping this in neutral stance.
I mean, I assumed that from the outset, given that Bernie has none of the typical corruption and sleazebaggery in his history that the vast majority of politicians in the world do. He doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk too.
+5 IQ
That's p much on point. Some France insoumise policies are good ideas on paper but Mélenchon is your typical power hungry asshole who doesnt respect anyone who isnt exactly following his ideology.
Bernie feels like someone who actually is pushing for progress and not petty short term political victories.
As a France Insoumise voter, I feel like this is the biggest problem with Melenchon. He's a very good speaker, and I adhere to a lot of France Insoumise's politics, but god damn does he have a big fuck mouth. Listen to him addressing his followers, his speaches are really powerful and great. But listen to him during interviews and he just can't stop attacking everybody.
It's a real shame.
He gives his party a bad name, I use to think they were way more radical that they actually are just because Mélenchon is such an ass. The policies themselves are pretty good though, especialy in ecology. It's no surprise a lot of people think it's a communist party when it really isn't, Mélenchon is as aggressive as them.
