Because I hope left-wing parties and their politicans hopes replacing her some point in future.
Just something center and not Merkel will be better.
as the Green party and far-right AfD continue to surge.
AfD surging is not fucking good, dude. The Conservatives were centre-right, pragmatic and probably fairly good for Germany.
????
I didn’t said anything related to these bigger losers, And I’m literally hopefully replacing them with lesser know Germanic left-wing political parties like Greens (The Alliance 90/Greens in their country) or The Left as Germany politics needs to evolve outside of traditional politics.
And also make sure that spoiler effect isn’t never play over there and instead as long mix-member Proportional representation is effective.
This is the issue though... centre-right in Europe, or at least Western Europe, tend to be fairly reasonable, and I am highly concerned about a PR election system promoting dangerous parties such as AfD.
Well there only one as ‘Free Democratic Party’ but it usually in sixth place (mostly in states and nationwide) and third place in couple state I guess.
A FPTP system does not really halt the far-right. See the US. And also in the UK the far-right just translates itself into party politics through the Tories. PR systems may allow far-right parties to get into parliament more easily, but that alone doesn't necessarily lead to more popularity.
PR makes people feel like they are represented. Trust in politics is generally much higher in countries with PR than countries with FPTP or other systems that lead to bad representation. In that sense I'd say PR is more effective at preventing the far-right from rising, though still not perfect, obviously.
Because Angela Merkel has done a complete 180 since 2015. She gives no shit about Germans anymore. She is a completely different person. It's hard for people to realize this, because, well, you aren't in this country and have her as your leader. She is doing nothing anymore to help the citizens who pay their taxes. Every time something horrible happened, she never got out to speak with the people involved in it. She just waits until the media and people don't talk about it anymore. Terroristic attacks and higher rape rates among the migrants/foreigners is part of our daily life now. And it still happens frequently but isn't presented in media outlets anymore because it's normal now. Merkel is complaining about us, the citizens who have to deal with the problems she has created by opening the borders and letting in several hundreds of thousands of people. She hasn't done anything to improve the working conditions for Caregivers in her 13 years as the councillor of Germany. She hasn't done anything to secure the pensions of the upcoming generation of retired people. Since 2014, the number of people moving out of this country has increased yearly. Foreigner students come here to study for lower costs but don't plan to stay here, they just return. I see Germany getting a shitload of problems in 10-20 years. We have massive issues getting engineers and builders because the younger people move out of this country, due to the problems. The taxes are high as fuck (Germany has the 2nd highest) but our government isn't doing anything to improve it even though we have achieved the highest excess of the state's capital for the past 10-20 years. It's unbelievable.
Because the other politicians supporting her aren't doing anything against the risen crime rates. They just ignore it all the time. There is an unequal judgement happening with migrants and Germans. For example: A German who damaged a mosquee with a molotov (no one was hurt) has gotten 9 years in prison. A migrant who brutally raped and murdered a young woman in Freiburg has gotten 8 years in prison. Barely any politicians speak about the anti-semitism that comes from the muslim migrants that have come here. Jews are attacked frequently. Teachers in our schools are completely overwhelmed with the overly violent foreigners and it doesn't happen that rarely that they get threatened or even attacked with knives by the young pupils. I have spoken with teachers from my previous schools that I attended in over 10 years ago. They speak about them as absolutely exhausting and it's completely different compared to my generation of school attenders.
