Vermont doesn't have a law for adults to wear seatbelts??? Why?
Bernie is still not sure what seatbelts are because he's so old.
Kansas City, MO isn't the red dot in the video. That's Plato, MO, which is the population center of the US. Kansas City, MO is located where the "bite" of Kansas is, along with Kansas City, KS. Not sure why they didn't specify that. Being a Kansan myself, that particular bit confused me.
New Hampshire is a libertarian state, their official motto is Live Free or Die
Vermont isn't New Hampshire though.
New Hampshire is the one with no seatbelt law, they had it mixed up.
That explains it.
It certainly brings a lot of culture. Legally though, it can be messy. You'll be crossing a state border like "okay are any of my pocket knives about become crimes? Do I need a front license plate on my car in this state? Are these local bartenders going to recognize my ID?" Thankfully gay marriage was legalized federally. But we still have the awkwardness of 'oh in this state you can have weed delivered to your house, but in this state your grandma is a criminal because she made the pot brownies' and whatnot.
well that particular part is not much different from the EU
Ive been to tortilla flat! Only accessible by a dirt road called the apache trail, has a nice and surprisingly busy restaurant there considering it only has 6 residents.
I always found the front plate law to be funny. Its a law here in Colorado but I have never had a front plate on my cars and have never been pulled over for it.
