Apu has always been one of my favorite characters on the Simpsons. I have always believed the reason people see him as offensive is because it is true that a lot of Indians do get compared to him, but the only reason that is the case is because Apu is one of the only well known Indian characters in American media. It's not The Simpsons fault that other popular Media don't have Indian characters, if anything I think The Simpsons should be praised for making a well educated and deep character based on a group of people rarely depicted in the west.

It's extremely good, almost the entire thing is animated and this is one of the best analysis of anything in entertainment media I've ever seen. The humor is pretty good too.

i was expecting it to be one of those meanspirited videos that points and laughs at social justice issues and boy am i happy to have been proven wrong
very calm and rational take on the issue, definitely the kind of video that is worth watching regardless of which side of the issue you're on

Usually I avoided watching the Brain Dump episodes even though I've watched some in the past this one was actually really good. I also don't really watch analysis videos cause of how long they are, but I'm glad I gave this a watch.
