• Rust crashing randomly

Rust is crashing within 5 minutes of being in game, and it only seems to happen when I load into a map with grass/foliage. I loaded into barren and it didn't crash the whole time, just when I joined a normal server. I've verified files, repaired EAC, and have reinstalled. This problem wasn't occurring when I played a while back on old specs, but now I've fixed my PC and upgraded parts, just now having this problem. I also don't get any sort of crash report or error message, it just closes to desktop and that's the end of it. Happens especially when I open my settings UI. The hardware doesn't seem to be the issue, as every other game on my PC runs just fine. Old hardware (when Rust worked) Nvidia 1030 2GB 8GB DDR4 Ram Ryzen 3 1200 ASUS factory stock Mobo New hardware (Crashing) Evga 1050ti 4GB 8GB DDR4 Ram Ryzen 3 2200g MSI Tomohawk b350
Your issue sounds familiar to a recent issue with Steam Beta, please make sure you have opted out of Steam beta participation and then restart Steam. https://files.facepunch.com/Alistair/October/24/0p7b9O261Wb/2018-10-24_15-35-26.mp4
Why bother to upgrade pc when you are still using 8GB ram ? , A high percentage of the posts regarding problems with the game have only 8gb ram you would think by now that the message would have sunk in ?, BUY more ram !
Instead of scouring the internet you could have scoured the posts on these forums and observed the amount of players who have had problems running the game with only 8gb of ram, This is what is recommended NOW, OS: Windows 10 64bit. Processor: 3 ghz. Memory: 16 GB RAM. Graphics: Nvidia GTX 980. DirectX: Version 12. Network: Broadband Internet connection. Hard Drive: 10 GB available space. What was needed in 2016/2017 Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. OS: Windows 7 64bit. Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD FX-9590 or better. Memory: 8 GB RAM. Graphics: GTX 670 2GB / AMD R9 280 better. DirectX: Version 11. Network: Broadband Internet connection. Storage: 20 GB available space. It has never to my knowledge needed LESS than 8GB ram.
