https://www.bbc.com/news/health-45953442 Plus it is unclear what might be the driver behind the link. The leading theory is tall people have more cells that can turn cancerous. Aha, look who's laughing now
Hmm, might also play in to obseity as well then. I mean it's the most basic, elementary school of explanations of the issue, but I guess it works.
lol fuckin manlets trying to justify their height

I'll take the risk of cancer if it means I can reach the top shelf.
Well no shit? I mean, the more of you there is to catch cancer somewhere! But seriously now, EVERYTHING GIVES YOU CANCER. EVERYTHING.
i've heard being alive is a cancer risk
After I get my step ladder I'm going to slap you downside the fucking head
living longer means increasing the risk of getting cancer killing yourself at an early age is a surefire way to avoid cancer
Out the womb and into a blender
I can grab stuff from the top shelf but it turns out all anyone keeps up there is tumors.
I'm 205cm. Dead man walking.
By the same logic if I cut out my lungs I won't get lung cancer any more. There, I solved lung cancer where's my Nobel prize?
Of course. Washington was 12 storeys high and made of Radiation.
i heard that motherfucker had, like, thirty goddamn dicks manlets btfo'd
Laugh it up. Us manlets will have the last laugh when we outlive you ;)
The taller you are, the more cells that are potentially cancerous, the greater your chance of cancer. I feel like my response belongs on /r/shittyaskscience
Since oxygen is heavier than nitrogen, the highest concentration of oxygen in the air is at lower heights which means the oxidative stress from being so short is more likely to damage cells in your lungs, while us nitrogen breathers are completely safe. Try harder manlet :^)
worth it
This means Jerma is safe, right?
6'7. Build a statue in my honor.. just removed everything below the knee caps, I don't wanna be remembered for my cancerous height.
The manlets will inherit the Earth
past a certain age, your chance to die from unnatural causes plummets. take that cancer
I'm 6'5" and had cancer so it must all be true
Sounds like something an oxygen-deprived asparagus would say
Can confirm. Im 195~ cm / 6 foot 4 inches and had cancer when I was a child.
only for multi-cellular idiots this post was made by prokaryote gang
6'3", where's my cancer so I don't have to live on this nightmare earth?
As if anyone would prefer being a manlet to some seasonal cancer Once we go full Gattaca kids are going to be fucking 7'0 tall before their balls drop
