I need some help with player models.
Jumped into Blender. Got a model in, imported the skeleton, aligned it and made it neat. Materials is where I start to have problems. All my materials and textures seem okay, went into /materials/models/player/playermodel. I put all my VMTs and VTFs, materials are named to their VTF/VMT counterparts and the VMTs have both the VertexlitGeneric and the $basetexture thing in, the path is correct. I export as SMD, do QC and SMD stuff, I get an error from Crowbar.
ERROR: cannot find bone ValveBiped.Bip01_L_Toe0 for bbox
I go into notepad and // it so that it's cut out of the code, but I can still use it if needed. Woop. Another error, this time it's for the other toe.
ERROR: cannot find bone ValveBiped.Bip01_R_Toe0 for bbox
Same thing done, commented, it's out of the picture. It compiles nicely.
Then I go and put all the stuff in the addons folder, everything is hunky-dory until I get in-game which, my model is now a floating ERROR.
Anything I might've done wrong?
And yes, I'm not reluctant to redo everything to get this to work. Ask if you need logs of the sort, or if you want me to explain something further.
