Is this the guy that called George W. Bush a radical liberal?
You got to be fucking delusional to pushing false narrative.
Isn't being fucking delusional one of the job requirements to work for fox?
I cant imagine all this denial of reality is going to lead anywhere other than horrors in the future. "What do you mean they imprisoned all those protestors? This must be a fake news to bully our 3rd term president!"
Fucking unbelievable. I know people that actually believe this is a false flag now. Fucking everything is fake news if conservative media says it is. What is even happening anymore.
Imagine if 9/11 just happened and they responded like this.
it's been like this for the last decade, where have you been
I almost morbidly want one of the bombs to blow up half of someones house just to see how far they'll take the false flag conspiracy.
jesus christ they can't even consider that Trump might have something to do with someone targeting all the people he's publically called out as his enemy.
A dude could literally carve the name Trump into his forehead and go shoot Clinton in the back of the head and then write MAGA on the walls in her blood and Fox would just argue that she was never real and the entire Clinton family are paid crisis actors.
I mean imagine if the bomb meant for Soros actually went off and killed him. Would these people call it a false flag, even though Soros is the mastermind behind their imagined leftist conspiracy?
This decade will end with violence and the end of one of the parties, who knows which. This cannot continue much more
They would blame the far left, like they already are which is fucking retarded, because the far left would be attacking the more heavily pro-corporate candidates, like, you know... republicans
No, the entire GOP base has not lost their mind just as the entire Dem base has not lost its mind. You just have idiots like Dobbs (on both sides) who make idiotic comments rather than having any sort of empathy, remorse, or integrity.
mate just fess up and say that it's some domestic terrorist doing this shit. You don't need to be all "NUH HUH NEVER HAPPENED" or "ITS A FALSE FLAG BY THE LEFT" I mean shit, all partys are okay so... yeah.
This is what's so scary about the extreme right wing outlets and the GOP. The right wing to them is this entity that can do no wrong whatsoever and everything done wrong is either not actually wrong or a plant by the left. At least if something goes wrong in the left they're willing to say "yo what the fuck" when CNN does something stupid or a far left extremist threatens a republican. This cult like persona is scary.
Screeching about both sides without providing examples from the other side is quite convenient.
so wait what does this have to do with business
It's convenient to write off half the nation as being sociopathic hate mongers in order to purvey the notion that your ideology is "correct".
Hmmm One hand you have a group of people blaming the media and victims for being the cause of the bombings, the other group is pointing out extremist views flourish when the leader keeps listing the victim as an enemy of the people. Going to have to side with the later as being morally correct and at least grounded in reality.
regardless, it proves that the GOP base is correct to circle the wagons around itself. being depicted as the reactionary rot in the country's civics, an existential threat to others, irrational and therefore incompatible with democracy, etc. signals that this is a zero-sum game. it's no longer about ideology or policy debate, it's about cultural divisions in society and the need for one side to dominate the other in order for this to end.
Do you not remember that Alex Jones himself was one of the early 9/11 truthers? Of fucking course they would. They might even have blamed it on Bush in addition to the Liberals and Jews, just cause Bush talked about "compassionate conservatism" and didn't speak like a raging drunk asshole 100 percent of the time. I mean, dude was a terrible fucking president, but he did help give aid to Africa, AKA black people, so the Trumpistans today would have certainly written him off as RINO.
If your rhetoric inspires people to engage in terrorist activity, you probably shouldn't circle the wagons and double down on that rhetoric.
I'd wager we hit the boiling point.
November 6 will be the boiling point, especially if Democrats take the house and get it 50/50 in the Senate or a one seat majority
The left is filled with snowflakes who can't deal with criticism, for it will make their fragile constitutions crumble! The Right should be respected for because reasons even though they're systematically looting the federal government and seem to be engaged in corruption on a systematic level.
I don't think you would like the implications of that logic being applied evenly. Instead, it would benefit anyone invested in politics to be excused from violence in the name of something, so long as they did not call for it. It's also not the way politics works. Nobody expects majority on any side of a political aisle to just surrender a whole political position they find themselves in because of what some fringe types twist and do with it, and your advocacy for that is opportunistic. It's transparently about a power game and providing the logic to control your opponent. It's also not very good for democracy. As time goes on and our society integrates, issues become more fundamental and total in the sense they affect the random individual more. They're more about things taken for granted by past generations, whether it's core values, old history, and want people want in the long-term. This is why we saw such immense ideological battles in the 20th century. We're not removed from the things that caused that. As those issues get harder it becomes more, not less, important for people to be able to speak. Otherwise faith in institutions, which again are of a scope unlike anything we've seen in history and affect everyone, will continue to drop as political character and the related power struggle infects more aspects of life. At that point, polite society would have just replaced moral society in repressiveness. This isn't the first crisis we've had and, given that we are due for more economic turmoil, it's only going to get worse. In the past, the key appeal of the far-right and far-left is the ability to say that liberal-democracy is barely any different from past governments, it's still just the rule of someone or some group whose interests are at odds with yours. They get to make appeals for a mass movement exactly because, since they rise during a crisis, politics already affects the totality of life.
maybe the 2nd amendment people could do something about tempcon ;^)
The GOP isn't being depicted as shit. They are doing things and rational human beings are reacting to them. Fuck outta here treating them with kids gloves and defending extremist tactics because you think the people who control all three branches of government and a majority of state legislatures are some oppressed and mistreated political minority. One could easily flip this post on it's head and have it talking about liberals and progressives and the only difference is that they would be much more accurate in their analysis.
