• Poster effect not showing up?

So i was in the middle of practicing my scenebuilds in gmod and once i have finished touching up my scene i typed in the poster command set to 2, but for some reason it just took a regular steam picture but without the 'camera-saved' ui crap. This happened to me again even when restarting gmod. Any idea whats going on? how can i fix this and does it also affect you guys?
Hmm weird did you just put "poster 2" What you described sounds like 'devshot' Bizarre never happened to me, have you checked both screenshot folders?
Poster 2 was for the rendering part of my image but i don't know if it was this devshot you mentioned since i never heard about it. i first learned the command from vioxtar's rendering guide and pretty much learned it exclusively. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/338316/ae6e2cf2-2b28-4fe5-88cb-cb6e96bc0c86/poster-18-10-21 00-25-12.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/338316/09df9776-d071-425a-9861-18d8dcb07757/gm_black0011.jpg now these images aren't the same but you can notice that the first right image with the french dude has a soft shadow on his head below the helmet. The second image is an example of this bug where i typed in the poster command and this is pretty much it. I didn't hit f12 it just kinda shows up like this note that i was using soft lamps for this, not the basic ones. sorry if this doesn't make any sense to you still
ah its because you need to put "Poster_soft" to use the soft lamps, not poster poster on its own won't render it
Ahh of course thanks dude.
