The Switch version could barely hold 30 even while docked. They really did a bad job on optimization on it. I hope they'll release some performance patch for the game, though that's pretty unlikely and probably won't do much.
This is why gamers need to rise up
I noticed there was a slight jiggle on PC, but now I see how great Switch's version is I'm pretty peeved. Why do they feel the need to do this? Has there been any word on their behalf about all of this nonsense censoring?
Console-exclusive boob physics
I can't if the boobs don't jiggle.
Gamers rise up and down repeatedly
Apparently, the game isn't actually censored, at least on PC.
People have been saying that if you cap the game at 30 FPS (the same cap as the Switch version, but not PS4/Xbone), the boob physics work fine.
This is why we shoot up schools.
GAMERS RISE UP
How the hell did they manage that?
Because they keep tying game logic to the framerate.
A lot of things in game development are easier if you can assume a fixed frame rate. Consoles have a fixed hardware specification, so it's easy and common for developers to time game logic, physics, networking, etc. to frame rate.
I remember that time that the rate of enemy fire in Valkyrie Chronicles was tied directly to the framerate so you accidentally made the game harder by having better hardware.
I can confirm this is true. So, what does this entail for the censorship angle? Was this intentional or not?
Japanese devs are still not used to programming for pc yet due to it historically not being a popular games platform in japan.
