Hey, does anyone know how to fix my problem? I host a server on an old laptop, but every few hours, like when i wake up the next morning, my server window is closed. I have no idea what is causing it, and i don't get any errors obviously, since the window closes.
It's most likely crashing because you're hosting on an old laptop.

Wouldn't say that; I'm running two Gmod servers and a 200 mod pack Minecraft server on my old desktop which is not the strongest thing in the world and srcds doesn't just crash randomly.
Check your addons as well, like run a test by running the server overnight with no addons and see what happens.
That's what i would say too. You don't have to have high end Laptop/pc to run gmod server.
I've installed Ubuntu desktop on my laptop and moved my backupped gmod server to it, but it dosen't seem to be able to run the bat file? Have u done this yourself? What should i do?
When u click the bat file, it right away shuts? Can you show your command line in the bat file?
It's like the bat format is not supported by Ubuntu?
