KnowingBetter knows nothing about Columbus and now FPS and Resolution
I hate this type of misinformation because its just straight up bullshit and lies
Literally nothing he says even makes sense or or a good argument
I definitely see 4k. It actually gives me motion sickness when I watch things on 4k :/
Could be how shit is formated or your brain/eyes just don't like focusing on smaller details for some reason
I actually find 4K tens of times easier to look at. 1080p just looks blurry as fuck to me.
Text looks much better in higher resolutions. It's one of the things that benefits a lot from it.
Also I think in some fps games higher resolutions make your mouse input more accurate because you can move the camera in finer steps.

Why does this guy keep using Hitler as is background when he talks
Not sure tbh, youtube recommended me his video on fov and he didn’t use it there and then they recommended this one, probably cuz I’ve watched a couple of KnowingBetter’s videos for research/debunking.
and in any case this is a really good debunk of KnowingBetter
I understand the criticisms against Knowing Better regarding 4K/60FPS, but in his video on Columbus he provided actual excerpts from Columbus's personal journal, the he offered explanations on how his statements could be misconstrued into meaning something else E.G "The Natives can easily be taught the word of Christ and become subjects of the church" --> " The Natives could easily become our subjects". I've seen the video, and the arguments he presented were fairly compelling.
Yeah, its the formatting.
I found this thread and this is exactly what I'm seeing
Hi i bought this tv at the weekend http://www.tesco.com/direct/sharp-lc-32che6131k-32-inch...
Its hard to explain but when people move on the tv its kinda like they are doing it in slow motion, like they have a dragging effect behind them, it really messes with my eyes when im watching it, any ideas what this could be?
More about : strange dragging effect people move

have you checked to see if it has any particular "enhanced" picture modes enabled? I picked up a 4k LG a year ago, and out of the box, it had some kinda fancy enhancement enabled that just made things look weird almost like a 3d effect but not a 3d tv

I have checked as i thought the same thing but unfortunatly this tv i have bought has very basic settings and all it allows you to change is things like brightness, contrast and sharpness
Sounds like nothing to do with resolution itself and more to do with a bad screen
Ghosting is what its called. It's not quite a motion blur effect, but very poor response time.

Basically, it can MAYBE be fixed by messing with the settings of SOME displays. My own 4k screen (ASUS) has something called 'trace free' with sorta causes a ghosting effect, setting it to 40 just makes it go away.
Usually though, it's just a matter of a really cheaply produced screen. I've seen it on a 144hz before, it's VERY disorienting and distracting. Ruins the entire viewing experience.
A detailed look here
If you want to know how good a monitor is, ask about its color depth and how well it does in test ufo
im going to try to find a video of what im seeing. My TV doesnt do it, but my friends tv does.
Its kind of like when you watch a Soap Opera and the camera is moving in an eerie way
His video was awfully sourced (he used an alt-right pundit saying that colombus didn’t commit a genocide in anyway, i forget the dude’s name but he’s legit awful) and him using google translate to try and dismiss what actual scholars who understand Spain and its culture at the era is laughably bad.
it was a poor video that spread historical misinformation.
Reminds me of the "you can see 1080p on the new 70p iphone XR! Just choose the option!" people
I know a guy who genuinely believes you can't see past 60fps
lmao that idiot hasn't figured out how to overclock his oculus uterque?
