I love how Ryan Gosling is able to convey such depth and emotion while being cold and expressionless all the time. he does like the same performance between bladerunner and first man and they're both amazing
Avatar also decided to retcon "unobtainium", replacing it with the more aptly named "difficulttofindium", rendering the film impossible to criticize.
That was honestly the best part about Bladerunner 2049 beyond the excellent CGI shots of sprawling cities and wastelands. It's very rare to find a performance that's so incredibly subtle yet manages to convey so much about the character, the plot, etc.

Even at the time, Avatar was a 6 out of 10 movie for me. I have no fucking idea how it became the highest grossing film of all time.

I don't even remember the 3d being all that good at the time.
I'm pretty sure there was one scene where some photographs pinned to a refrigerator in the background had the same level of depth as everything else, so they looked like tiny windows instead of flat images.
Still looked like shit imo.

I've been having to do work projects with default fonts because the boss doesn't want to pay for font licensing. Bahnschrift is at least pretty good. The company logo has used Impact since 1992.
