Around 2 hours ago, my Rust suddenly stopped working right. I was on a server as normal this morning, DC'd for the time being, and went on an hour later. Upon trying to join my desired server, I was greeted with a "Disconnected: Wrong Connection Protocol: Server update required!" disconnect message, so I just thought "ok, fine, I'll go ask the server owner." He confirmed his server was up to date, and people was playing on it. I checked my Rust was up to date too. This problem can't be due to a new update, or else everyone else would be screaming on about this aswell. For some reason, only a few selected servers come up on my server browser now.

I can join those fine, but any other ones kicks me straight off. I've verified the files, restarted Rust, Steam and my PC, I've tried a lot. I've scurried along the internet, but most people getting this problem back in 2016 are just saying to "wait for the owner to update the server" and as I said, my rust is updated, and so is the Rust's of the players on those servers I can't access. Any help? Thanks.
i have been getting this same problem for the second time now .....
