An idea besides bitching to actually improve the game

Okay, so I have a few small propositions to bring to Rust. To start, I believe that Rust is a game that, besides being just grinding or shooting people for a high, is about having fun with friends, or even with strangers. So this is to bring a torch to the empty darkness of player interaction in Rust.
How about we add clan buffs to Rust?
This a feature that should improve Rust; argue about it if you want, I'm thinking along the lines of these buffs being solely to improving resource gains in a single field, whether it be wood/stone, metal, gunpowder, etc. This should help improve trade and player interaction by allowing players to specialize in certain fields, creating trade that could be beneficial to both parties besides just the 150 scrap for a revolver/DB shotgun we see.
I believe it should be impossible for clans to receive every buff; eventually they should max out in level, with bigger groups having slightly larger max levels. I also think that it should be possible to create a small amount of resources out of midair during trading, by allowing a 10-20% or so lower cost to the person doing the trade; they trade 1000 refined iron, they only lose 800. This can be balanced by allowing this to happen only one time for each player, and maxing how many resources can be traded at once (instead of buying 10000 iron, people have to buy 10x chunks of 1000. with only one being of lowered cost). This needs serious tuning, but it is a possibility. It needs a few safeguards to stop players from using this for free resources, but I believe this can be implemented effectively.
Besides that, it would make sense for groups in Rust to be able to "alliance" with each other, with this allowing gangs to maximize their gains. Again, since larger groups scale
to have a bit more, the effects of having a 20 man clan instead of three seven man clans should outweigh the other. Allies should also trade with subsidies like the 20% thing above. This also needs a bit of tuning. To add, Rust should provide hints for all of this so players at least think over being friendly to one or two of their neighbors for once, for mutual benefit. And a list of different clans players can scroll through like a player list; just ways to that players can discern their neighbors or random people on the other side of the map to ask to be friendly towards. Doors could possibly name the owner of their house.
Overall it's a handful for a vision of the possibility of a rough society in Rust that needs a lot of tuning, but I believe player interaction creates some of the most fun moments in Rust, and encouraging trade and alliances is a good step to accomplishing that. I think even separate groups agreeing to become an alliance for an increased resource gain is good for this game. The difference between this and the xp system is that this works towards buffs as a group. Argue how to get xp if you want, I believe the method of getting it, whether it be scrap or just from doing anything normal in Rust, works.
Sorry to say you wasted your breath with that one. Ask yourself this....what massively multiplayer game have you seen that isn't that way. Nothing you can do will ever stop people from teaming up and
running the board.
Not to mention, Helk and Garry both advocate clans.
With that said, I can understand your frustration but....It can be defeated. I've played this game solo since browser, trust me...clans are the least of your worries in Rust
Hire your own server and use plugins to get the game you want,
I am like Rush I play solo 90% of the time, the rest i play with a team mate who has been playing with me for the last 4 years, I have seen groups come on the server(s) and they waste so much time killing each other and stealing their own team mates gear its a joke, then they move on to another server,
I have no interest in the views or opinions of 12 year olds and if they dont like the game they should go back to picking their pimples and watching for acne.
Did you actually read my post? Or are you just being a troll?
I also play mostly solo. Just saying that since Helk wants to move the game towards clans, they might as well implement it in a way that'll help improve player interaction. Solo players can also have these buffs, as a 1 man team. Should've made that more clear, but I thought it was somewhat obvious.
There is no such thing as a one man team !
noun
noun: team; plural noun: teams
1.
a group of players forming one side in a competitive game or sport.
I read your post and replied to it, if you dont like the reply i cant help that,
There are already plenty of plugins that already help clans get rewards and buffs so if you want them install the plugin.
I have no interest in clans at all and never have,
And i have no interest in the opinions of 12 year olds at any time.
