IGN checked our own PS4s with P.T. loaded and were not prompted to download any kind of update when accessing the game, with no update appearing even when we searched for one. The game, which remains fully playable on our consoles, is appearing as version 1.00 - many commenters on the Reddit thread are giving similar reports.
Because the date of PopulusTrichocapra’s alleged P.T. update is displayed in the day/month/year format (as opposed to the US month/day/year format), it’s probable they live in a different geographical region, suggesting this patch could be releasing in waves to various specific regions. This report should be taken with a grain of salt considering there’s not much evidence outside of the thread that a P.T. kill patch is making the rounds.
