• The question for those who vape

I decided to switch to vaping after 12 years of smoking. I’ve bought Minion Vape Mod Kit here https://www.migvapor.com/vape-mods and I'm fully satisfied with that. Now I’m using 1.2% nicotine juice and it seems too strong to me. When I smoked cigarettes it was a half of pack a day. The question for those who vape: how to choose the right nicotine strength?
The nicotine is measured in milligrams per milliliter and is often expressed as a percentage. This means that 1.2% nicotine e-liquid contains 12 milligrams of nicotine per milliliter. The higher the percentage, the higher the nicotine content. You cannot just say all cigarettes contain such and such amounts of nicotine. It's not even fair to say that they all average so much nicotine. The average, by the way, is about 12 mg per cigarette. The large majority of cigarettes fall between a range of 8 mg and 20mg. Seeing as cigarette brands are really inconsistent, I'd suggest scaling it down and trying low first, seeing as for each drag you're getting it in a consistent form, which can seem incredibly strong for some.
Not a smoker or a vaper but you could try diluting the liquid with a non-nicotine liquid if you feel it's too strong.
It's all about personal experience. You've obviously concluded that 12mg is too strong, so I'd go ahead and take the dip toward 6. If that's still too strong, there's always 3mg, down to 1, then 0. Believe it or not, it actually gets worse from there -- you can vape up to 24mg, and some off-kilter places offer up to 40. Also, I wouldn't recommend the kit you have unless you're keeping it just as a starter. A box mod, sub-ohm tank, and 18650 batteries'd run you roughly $40 and would last you more than three times as long than the kit you're using now -- provided you buy a good one, that is. It's all personal preference, though.
Fuck me did not realise 40 was a thing, that just seems like asking for getting sick in an instant. But I do know from experience 2-3 pack/day habits easily exist so should not be too surprised.
I vape and all the lingo goes way over my head. A $50 Smok mod from any store does me just fine. 3 or 6 nicotine is good enough for me, and I smoked a pack a day. Also buy your juice wholesale. Rather than getting 20 ml for $15 at the store order a liter for $40 online. Vaping can really save you money.
0,8% was plenty to ween me off marlboros
I helped my housemate wean of cigarettes using a vape. 12mg is pretty much for people who smoke multiple sigarettes a day. 6mg tends to be casual smokers, but we started with this since the idea was to reduce. 3mg is what we used to wean him off it, but he took more drags of this at first. Eventually we started diluting the 3mg concentration of 30ml bottles halfway into a second bottle of 30ml with 0 nicotine. Effectively reducing the concentration by half to 1.5 and finally zero nicotine for about 6 months until it was only the habit of the act of smoking/vaping. If you don't intend to stop entirely, I would get a bottle of 6mg concentration, and a second bottle with zero, then diluting between the two until you get the amount you think is suitable.
Yep, it sure is. My friend bought 42mg juice from some retailer, dripped it into his tank, and immediately got knocked onto his ass because of how strong it was. It doesn't even knock you out or anything, it just makes you so lightheaded and nauseous that you can't help but just sit on the floor and hold back vomit. Luckily a lot of e-cig shops, especially physical stores, have phased out juices up to 40mg. You can only really get juices that high (and higher) on the dark web. Come to think of it, I haven't been seeing a lot of retailers selling 24mg anymore. That was the highest I'd go back when I first started out.
When I first switched off of cigarettes I'd buy 12mg, after a while of that I bought a more powerful vape and found I was using it constantly so I switched down to 3 so I don't get hypertension or some shit. If you use it heavily I'd definitely go low
I had the same problem when I used to smoke a cig-like vape. I suffered a lot before I knew the real reason of what's happening. First, you gotta check the coil. If it's dense, than you gotta weaken it a little bc if not, your tank will request a lot of power to make a puff. So, I'd check myself on it and maybe replace the device. You make check this link https://www.mygadget.us/ (Ego type is the most preferable in your case).
