Green wave
Canada was the first big domino. Weed's gonna be legal in most of the world within 10 years.
Except in the US, which will never give in because of reasons.
It's already started lol Maybe not in this administration, but it'll go through.
6 months maybe when Trumps out
We can hope then.
Editors spend their entire careers waiting for gems like this to get used. It's like getting Christmas bonus. I think the US is about 10 years away from federally legalizing weed, if things don't turn completely unpredictable. Because I think it's going to go like gay marriage did: Individual US states legalize it, then Canada legalizes it, and then the US finally legalizes it federally after more and more states get on the bandwagon every year/every election cycle. Fuck, I could even see Trump pushing to legalize weed just to boost his approval ratings if they dip too close to 30%, at any random point before he leaves office.
What's with the sudden wave of the legalization of the weed? It's a very good change and I hope even more countries will follow (looking at you, Poland, though I can only dream).
The people that smoked it as a norm have grown up and are entering positions that can sway public opinion. Youtube helped considerably also I'd imagine. It's harder to brainwash your population about Satan's weed needles when they no longer rely on you for their information. Basically, the answer to you question is, WE legalized it. I remember the days on Facepunch when people were actually arguing it caused brain damage and the like and arguing over research papers on the matter about whether it had any health benefits. It's nice to see we moved on in a relatively short space of time.
Holy fuck it's happening Where should I invest?
I hear bitcoin is really hot right now.
Facepunch coins into my pocket
And Japan, where it is treated the same as significantly more dangerous drugs. I bet that Japan will be one of the last to make marijuana legal, if that ever even happens. Anybody being busted for even owning marijuana gets reported on the news like it is a good thing they were busted.
Married to money and carats.
Weed revolution, dude
