I think the US is about 10 years away from federally legalizing weed, if things don't turn completely unpredictable.

Because I think it's going to go like gay marriage did: Individual US states legalize it, then Canada legalizes it, and then the US finally legalizes it federally after more and more states get on the bandwagon every year/every election cycle.

Fuck, I could even see Trump pushing to legalize weed just to boost his approval ratings if they dip too close to 30%, at any random point before he leaves office.
