I'm trying to get it running again smoothly on my Windows 10 machine, the FPS is really sluggish sometimes with lots of enemies on screen. Does anyone know a fix? I'm running in compatibility mode for one. http://igg-games.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Survival-Crisis-Z-Free-Download.jpg http://www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/attachments/survival92-png.9789/ http://skasoftware.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/scx2.jpg
I've got the same problem. Last machine I had that actually ran SCZ was an XP box with a Pentium 4. I just remembered it a couple weeks ago, got it installed with the fixes, and it starts and runs but at a terrible framerate that becomes unplayable when there's more than one zombie onscreen. I've played around with the compatibility stuff and haven't found anything helpful yet.
Alright. Keep me posted if you find anything. It's a fun game I think I understand how to play better now that I'm older.
Hell yeah, that game was dope!
The atmosphere was really good, wasn't it? Some of the best I've seen in a zombie game.
oh ya I have this saved in a zip somewhere. this game absolutely needs to be made into a full fledged title. The mechanics for taking over sanctuaries were pretty fun, you could do the old wave survival routine, or ducktape and electrocute the leader, or just put a bunch of c4 on the building and demand fealty. it was pretty great.
SCZ was pretty kino for a few mb game. Wish Windows 10 could still play it.
