Before anyone freaks out, the Texas Minutmen already do this type of shit all the time. They're involved in guarding ranches mostly and patrolling the Rio Grande. The last caravan that went through was also supposedly going to be intercepted by the Watchmen or Oathkeepers and that never came to fruition. If anything, the Texas Minutemen are also one of the better groups for this type of shin-dig considering they have better connections with USBP, and actively work with them.

We need to grow up with our viewpoints being challenged so we know how to formulate our own opinions but MORE IMPORTANTLY learn how to talk with people instead of having brain melt downs where everyone just starts flinging shit at each other because we're not used to proper arguments in real life anymore. This has made people even more cemented in viewpoints and instead of seeing a differing opinion they now see a WRONG OPINION. (see the issue there?) Worse yet we try to act like a bastion of intellectualism yet we are just as fucking effected by that, we just go way more Democratic leaning but the hate is still there, and it makes us look no better than them. I am sure someone at this point will be like "but we are better than Republicans look at all the evil shit they do" but it should be instead "but we are better than these specific people at the top look at all the evil shit they do." Again that us vs them mentality has been utilized to protect the real problem which is insanely rich people who use these politics, so while were busy fighting the random fucking Republican Joe who *surprise* has differing views but is mostly just a misinformed person looking out for his "own" the real people tearing up the country get to enjoy their wine in a gated community. Yet instead of trying to shift these people we just do what we all blast Hillary for and turn our noses up to these "deplorables" so they turn to the people who welcome them and pat them on the back with "yes men" just like their social media comfort zones. What this country needs is more INTERACTIONS between everyday Republicans and everyday Democrats that ISNT POLITICALLY BASED OR AT LEAST HAS A FOCUS ON SOMETHING ENJOYABLE. Like here we have almost gotten to the point where we consider every Republican to be foaming at the mouth crazy and we completely shun them and even the idea of Republicans and Democrats sitting down and doing something as simple as eating is seen as impossible. But what if everyone on each side actually sat down and talked about things other than politics? Would probably find similar interests, similar ground to stand on that we can't usually reach because of social media we've gotten to the point where a single differing opinion means that person is completely against you. So you call them an evil shithead and run off to your group that agrees with you and you all feel superior when that person may be stable in other areas that could be used to help convince them that they may be wrong in that earlier aspect. Nowadays the moment we disagree with someone we just shove them away when we need to learn to look at people as a whole again and try to realize they are just people with hopes, dreams and fears which we need to work with to achieve things. People we individually view as shitty are not going to stop existing so we need to learn to work with these people to create baby steps towards large term change because THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.
