I won't be surprised nor shed any tears for the Tory party if the Irish decide to focus their troubles on them specifically.

Now we know why this is a thing.
ironically, he's voicing him in the new movie
You have to pretty blind ir ignorant (or both) to not see how that's a bad idea, given the past of the Irish State.
The Conservatives don't even care about their own voter base anymore, they're not gonna care about Ireland.
Do they not care about the possibility of more bombs and needing armed border checkpoints again?
Not until it happens, then they'll be all "woe is me how did this go so wrong" and when you point the finger at them they'll just deflect.
They need to be politically destroyed if Troubles 2 Brexit Boogaloo happens.
So the exact thing they've been doing about Brexit.
It's actually astonishing how utterly ignorant they are about the border, really. The Tory party seems to be going out of its way to ignore the border communities and the Northern Irish economists. Of course, the DUP will continue to spread their propaganda and rhetoric about Muslims and continue to be fundamentalist Christians.
basically, ní thuigim an sasanach
