Youtuber Shirrako's account allegedly banned for killing a feminist NPC in RDR2 - Sensationalist Headlines

For those of you who aren't aware, Shirrako posts walkthroughs and various gaming videos. He also came under fire from the media recently for uploading videos such as "Beating Up Annoying Feminist" in RDR2. Today, Shirrako's Youtube account was closed without warning and he alleges it was because of these videos.

It's weird cause Shirrako's such a huge presence simply because of the volume of stuff he'd upload. Everything from soundtracks, to walkthroughs - he's got thousands and thousands of videos. I have no idea why he'd suddenly make such a dumb video.

It could bea ploy to get attention.

If the channel link in the OP is correct, it explicitly states its because the channel had multiple violations of Youtube policy.

I think the point being made here is that's against a feminist specifically, if he hadn't titled the video in such a way that makes him sound like he's another one of those ignorant anti-feminist morons, this would have gone unnoticed no doubt.

I dunno, RDR1 had a trophy for hogtying a woman to railroad tracks and watching her die. According to his Twitter, Shirrako also made videos killing some of the KKK and racist NPCs in various ways. We've all fucked around in sandbox games by coming up with creative ways to kill people I think. These feminist-killing videos were just singled out for being in exceptionally poor taste in today's political climate.

I just think that when it gets political, things start to come out a little harsh. For example this, if the video would say “STUPID BLACK MEN FED TO PIGS” I'd say it could get banned too, IDK. I won't say “its just a video game” because that's no argument, and by the looks of it, it was made just to annoy some people.

Yeah let's be real, he didn't get banned because he killed female NPC. He was deliberately trying to stir shit by killing a specific NPC and using a "clickbait" title about it. I don't know if its absolutely "bannable", but it is pushing the line.

With a video like "DROPPING FEMINIST TO HELL" and "BEATING UP ANNOYING FEMINIST" it's no wonder he got banned. His vocal audience doesn't seem much better.

It is a wonder though. Such hardline standards have not been enforced upon actions in games, on Youtube or otherwise. Normally game videos have been an absolute wild west and life went on without problems.

Look at that Watch_Dogs clip of a guy stalking and killing NPCs described as minorities.
