| Help Needed For Up and Coming DarkRP Server and Garry's Mod Network |
6 replies, posted
Hello,
Me and my good friend have been developing a small Garry's Mod server for DarkRP that we are looking to expand into a professional network (Yes we understand that DarkRP is dead but we are looking to start small and hopefully work our way up, this is ambitious goal but that's why we came here).
We already have made a small server with minimal content but the problem is neither of us know much about lua at the moment or how to host a server. We are looking for a good server hosting service that allows for easy file transfer of larger sizes. are currently coding a website. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know. In addition to that we are looking for developers that know and understand lua and a graphic designer that could make us our own logo and website theme(Pay is negotiable). If interested comment down below and leave a form of contact information.
Cheers!
isnt just a gamemode with several thousand servers with several thousands players all the time, and in top 3 of the server list in gmod
Darkrp might be slowing down but that doesn't mean anything, I want to start a server in it because I actually have a passion for that gamemode and want to create something unique, I already know how to run a server I just need developers. Did you read the post?
his post was based on your "DarkRP is dead" notation.
Also, dont tell yourself you create something unique. Thats what literally every darkrp server tells themself, and in the end everyone uses the same workshop addons, gmodstore addons, same rules, is all the same
No need for the snarky response, not once did I "tell myself" that I already made something unique, that's the entire reason for me writing this post..
I am looking for devs to HELP me create something unique.
Yea, and like we already said, (or didnt clearly said apparently), either you PAY for someone that does a good job, or you get some noob coder for free thats gonna give you a buggy script or a backdoor
