Good morning.
Every week, i need to redo my config file for the decay limitations as well for several other edits. However, is there a way that i dont need to redo everything even if i saved the file itself?
I'm looked on the web, but could not find anything that could give me the needed answer or there is a answer, but i dont know how to do it as the explanation is more messy and broken English from others.
Could anyone pinpoint me in the right direction to look and learn? Thank you in advance.
kindly regards and a great week ahead!
so much support for so far i see
Bumping this again. ( gonna keep bumping it tho )
Hi mate
Iam not sure exactly what it is your asking, but it sounds like your config gets delete or?
but if you save it here Your rust server\server\server identity\cfg\server,cfg nothing the happen to it.
you can add -autoupdate to your startup bat that way it will auto update, you can make a lot of things with that bat
decay.scale "1" // 1 = normal decay, 0,5 = 50%, 0 = turn decay off (1)
decay.upkeep_period_minutes 2180 // Default - 1440 half - 2880
was that the answer you were looking for?
No
Your server's decay settings should be saved into your server.cfg file. This is your server's configuration file and will be read in as the server is starting up. The settings in this file are not temporary and do not change on server restarts or server updates.
Exactly, curious however that this is a default setting and he is getting a config dump.
Curious OP, is your server Modded? What is your wipe cycle?
