• **Warming assets takes 1 hour 35 minutes**

Just bought the game after revering it on many Youtube videos for a month. On first attempt to start a game, Warming assetts /5000 took 40 minutes, the following mesh procedures took another 40 minutes. I thought maybe it was just a way the server/download composure was system embedding for the permanent stage standards on any server you connect to. Well after about 15 minutes of play, the game crashed and I tried to reboot thinking it would have direct accessibility now. No. The /5000 assets carried on as noormal, but this time instead of doing mesh rendering as it would for the second half, it did something with verifying /17000 items, that went considerably sloower than the other procedure previously. I looked up conditional solutions regarding turning asset warming off , etc but those all seem to be out dated. I would rate my rig at being about 55% to the standards modern gaming rig standards, as I have updated it from custom adjustments for 10+ years now. But I couldnt qualify the capacity oofo it taking a standard 1 hour and 35 minutes to load, play with general tolerance foor 20 minutes, crash and then take 3 hours to load on entry to the same server. Can anyone break down the scenario ofo loading a server for the first time, into reentering it as it is made to wait /17000 ? Help me piecemeal coorrecting this issue.
Perhaps its my ram, if my computer listing is saying it right, im only running 4 sticks at 4, but io could have sworn it was 8 gigs of ram. Intel core 2 quad 6600 @2.40 hz Geforce GTX 750 Ti and I have 2 partitioned hard drives, this game is running ooff of the free drive. Perhaps my computer is just too outdated. Though 1 hour 35 minutes too load, and then gaining an issue ofo having too doouble that on reentry too server? It seems a bit cumbersome, that I am not just lagging tremendooously, the game runs "smoooothly" it just breaks at certain points.
Try installing it on your main (C) drive, it usually runs better , Try increasing your paging file , dont have programs that use a lot of ram/cpu running in the background as this is a memory hungry game. Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz is a high-end Processor based on the 65nm Core micro-architecture. It offers 4 Physical Cores (4 Logical), clocked at 2.4GHz and 8MB of L2 Cache. Among its many features, Virtualization is activated. The processor DOES NOT integrated any graphics. and has a rated board TDP of 105W. It offers average performance. It will therefore become a bottleneck in today's demanding games. Source [Pip]
Your CPU is 11 years old. There's only so much a CPU that far back can do. You might even be running DDR2 RAM, depending on the motherboard.
It's the ram, your CPU is not the problem despite its age. I recently tried playing the game with only 8gb and it also took over an hour despite having a very high clocked i5, after sticking in another 8gb it only took like 8 minutes.
Your overall PC is the problem, it is just too old to run such an un-optimised game. If you open Task Manager (CTRL+Shift+ESC) you can see your Ram usage and how much of it Rust is taking up. An SSD will also be great addition towards your load in times once the rest of your PC is to a decent standard.
