In the next wipe we can see some logical elements so this may be useful too. When you use repair bench you must take resources in your inventory, it's very tedious if something repairs often. I always keep small box under repair bench but and this nor a variant. May be add system that allowed automatiacally grab resourced from this small box for example, when it connected to repair bench?
I dont see the problem, most tools and weapons that decay are easily fixed with the resources i normally carry anyway. I always carry wood/stone/metal/hq in small quantities in case I have to build a temporary secure base, The amount needed to repair anything is meagre and the annoyance of having
to move things from a box to inventory/fix item/return to box would make it not worth the trouble .
I doubt that this idea will be implemented as there are far more important things to fix.
