So not only is ICE blatantly racially profiling people but it's ineffectively doing so. You're not going to find many illegals working at 7-Eleven because they're franchise stores. A lot of paperwork and records is required.
This isn't related but this photo from the article is really neat. Damn cool way to sign a bill. https://assets.bwbx.io/images/users/iqjWHBFdfxIU/iUnD2xqultcU/v1/800x-1.jpg
We've had some ICE patrols around the 7-Eleven near my apartment. All the cashiers there are citizens but a lot of noncitizens come in to shop. One time I overheard a cashier warning an immigrant about ICE, telling them what their vehicles look like and what times the patrolled at, and how they would detain him and ask for his papers. He was really freaked out but also grateful for the heads-up. Kind of cool that his particular cashier had more humanity than virtually the entire federal government.
Reading that was like some dystopian shit. Replace ICE with Gestapo and immigrant with Jew.
They were already caught bribing businesses to oust illegals with motel 6: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/motel-6-agrees-pay-7-6-million-sharing-information-immigration-n932106 They are a literal secret police who are going out of their way to dehumanize and attack a minority for just existing.
Them existing offends the President, as well as type of people more likely to join ICE.
You say this, but where I live, it's common knowledge that a lot of folks will "share shifts" at the local gas stations and convenience stores, and managers/store owners will turn a blind eye and submit the timesheets without any question. (They do this with their own family members too, so your mileage may vary.) You can't just say, "oh that's just some weird bigoted myth," I personally know people who do this. It's especially bad with night shifts in quiet parts of town where someone who doesn't speak much English can just stock shelves quietly.
Even if it does happen on occasion it does not justify ICE. This is still blatant racial profiling. I'm willing to bet though that "I personally know people who do this" amounts to nothing more than "they're immigrants that don't speak great English so they're obviously illegals" because in my personal experience that's exactly what happens 99% of the time when someone says they're sure someone's an illegal immigrant.

You're wrong then. This is not "oh man I'm so sure I've guessed this." This is "I know people who have admitted to this." Thanks for the condescending snipe though.
