This feels like the 7th entry in the Pokemon Cinematic Universe, what a weird first LA Pokemon film
Walking plushies. They look decent from a distance but unnecessarily detailed up close.
Also the pokemon worlds should be vibrant, not the usual cinema orange/blue palette.
When I clicked this thread I really didn't expect to be confronted with existential dread.
God why did they go so hard as to even put a tiny amount of hair on top of Mr. Mime's head
Me: Oh boy, the trailer for Detective Pikachu is out!

I like how some of them look, like Bulbasaur and Greninja, but things like Pikachu and Jigglypuff look pretty off.
The "realistic" pokemon intermixed with real people gives off a low budget fanfilm vibe.
All the Pokemon look so disgusting.

Kill it, kill it dead.
Uncanny valley is strong here.
You are just walking to your nearest pokemart at 3 am and you see this in an alleway, what do you do?
This is about exactly how I pictured a Pokemon movie to look.
