I was going to say that there's no reason why online voting shouldn't be a thing then I realized how much shit would go down with all the alt-right gamers potentially commiting fraud

Bay county is like a miniature brazillian favella, you've got the super wealthy beach area which is completely unaffordable for the working class, then you go over the bridge and across the tracks into the actual city which was a run down shithole full of tweakers before the hurricane and now its mostly just gone. Home owners on the beach side are jacking up rent to make the best of the housing crisis that has affected people like me and thousands of others who were living in low-income housing in town. It's disgusting and leaves me with no option but to move out of the area, but at this point I'm glad to leave this area.
http://floridapolitics.com/archives/281018-bay-county-email-votes NBC-7 WJHG interviewed Bay County Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen about how he dealt with voters displaced by Hurricane Michael. Andersen said he worked with 147 voters who returned ballots by email using similar protocols to those used for military and overseas ballots to allow voters to sign an oath and verify their identities. After Michael struck the region, Florida officials eased early voting restrictions for eight counties, including Bay County, recovering from the storm. Gov. Rick Scott bent some rules through an executive order signed Oct. 10. But in a release in an election plan for storm-struck areas released by Detzner on Oct. 18, state officials explicitly reminded elections officials that voting by fax or email is not covered by Scott’s order. And Bay County Republican Party Chairman James Waterstradt says he was not aware before the election of email ballots being allowed. He served as an election observer during the recount of votes, which concluded last night, and said the issue of email ballots never came up there.
My state is so fucking ass backwards, holy shit. We should just throw out the entire election and do it over again at this rate, but disallow any candidates that committed elections fraud the first time around.

They weren't able to mail me my absentee ballot so this was the solution? What the fuck. I'd rather not be able to vote due to the hurricane than to resort to accepting emailed ballots.
oh okay so when voting for a democrat it's "you need 5 forms of identification so we can make sure there isn't any VOTER FRAUD" voting for a republican "just email it" republicans are hypocrites, wow, who could have seen that coming
It's really unbelievable when you compare the truth to the rhetoric. Instances of voter fraud per year number in the single digits while election fraud by the people running these races is a fucking GOP platform.
I think arrangements should have been made for voters affected by the hurricane to submit special ballots, but this is just fraud.
What does an emailed ballot even look like?
FROM: coment@facepunch.com TO:elections2018florida@gmail.com TITLE:ey sign me up BODY: hey guys put me in for ricky, he's the BEST --John I love it, It's either too anonymous to identify who voted, or too identifiable and traceable to maintain voter confidenciality
Arrangements should have been made for voters. National Guard could have come in and setup some operations to ease the situation. What is occuring right now is outright voter fraud of the highest caliber and is unacceptable.
