Fucking hell, I knew this would happen. The GOP needs to get out power forever, and a new party, that actually CARES for democracy, needs to get in.
twitter maga users - democrats are trying to steal an election twitter progressives - every vote counts. end with voter suppression.
oh, I guess we're going from diet fascism to straight up fascism now, cool
wait, what? why was she being arrested?
The legislature ordered everyone to disperse from the floor and she didn't.
They won't arrest the politicians guilty of enacting voter suppression, but they're more than happy to arrest a senator who's calling them out on it.
The south was never particularly free or democratic.

Source Yeah hah no, this is hardly threatening or abusive. Loud sure, but that's how protests work. Stamping on that is to stamp on free speech.
The ACLU should sue for this tbh
I'm not from the US so can someone explain this situation this a bit more? If she had to leave and refused, what is the problem here?
From the post above The Georgia Department of Public Safety said in an emailed statement Tuesday that demonstrators were charged with misdemeanors under a law that makes it illegal to disrupt meetings of the state legislature with "loud, threatening, or abusive language.
Disrupting meetings with your voice is going to be protected 6 ways from Sunday under the first amendment. Should've tried a trespassing charge
Alright that's it, Bring the good ole bugle boys We'll sing another song Sing it with the spirit that will Start the world along Sing it as we used to sing it Fifty thousand strong While we were marching through Georgia!
One thing I will say about Georgia is the small towns. The people in these small towns can be very ignorant of what is going on, from the people I've talked to. They think anything Trump says or the Repub do is right and just. I mean fuck, Laurens County (Dublin GA) has started to let teachers bring guns to school. These small towns are factories for close minded clones. I've met good people in the small towns, but they are vastly outnumbered by those who just don't give a fuck about what is going on. Number one defense I have heard for Trump and all his bullshit "he's bringing jobs back...hillary or trump, hillary or trump" Like fuck yes I would've loved Hillary, she would've been watched like a criminal, she wouldn't been able to do shit. I digrees, this is bullshit. This is everything we are not.
