I feel like Intel isn't used to competition and is still in denial about actually having some.
My personal theory is that the Core microarchitecture just isn't capable of scaling in the ways that AMD is pressuring them to. I have money on Intel, in a couple years or less, resorting to gluing together chiplets like AMD. At this point I can't really see another way forward unless the upcoming 10nm process pulls something magical and revolutionary out of its ass. assuming Ice Lake literally ever releases lmao
AMD is already doing really fucking well with Ryzen, hopefully they can get back into the GPU market.
