It's both interesting and scary to watch the government disintegrate before our very eyes
LEAVING GOVERNMENT WHEN DEMOCRACY DOESN'T WORK YOUR WAY LOL

I mean I don't wanna seem like I'm endorsing Brexit, but how is this "democracy not going his way"? There's been no "democracy" yet as this is simply a preliminary deal that still needs to be voted on by the British parliament. May's cabinet needed to approve it first, and when he doesn't think he can do that, he leaves. I mean, I'd rather minister's leave when they disagree with stuff rather than simply be yes men.
Of course he might just be trying to save his own ass from being associated with the result, but yeah, I don't get the "democracy" part.
is that her signature or the logo of McVey's upcoming death metal group
They either stay and stand by whatever the thing is or leave because they can't really continue doing their job properly when they don't endorse it. What's the problem with that?
Good riddance, Esther McVey is awful.

Can't wait for the Corbyn to bring on the bants
Beyond bringing the bants, what is Corbyn gonna bring? Is this a particularly bad deal? What are you guys expecting out of a brexit deal?
Corbyn is not exactly pro-EU, but he has said he would support a people's vote on Brexit. And in any case, Labour is a pretty two-faced party but infinitely better than the Tories trying to completely fuck Britain over because of 'sovereignty' except not achieving anything.
Also watching the BBC and they just had 2 Conservative MPs saying they need to stop Brexit entirely lmao.
Other letters of no confidence are coming in, including one from Jacob Rees-Mogg who will remind you that he is NOT running for leader, nor is this a coup but he will be backing Boris Johnson or David Davis in a leadership race. Again, stressing that it is not a coup, because those only happen in other countries.

Posted this in the other thread but I'll post it here again.
I fully expect, even with a deal, Brexit is fucking over the UK.
says nervous Leaver 6th time this week.
Weak and Wobbly.
Where/when did he say this? As far as I can tell, he's definitely opposed to a second referendum, and if he's talking about a general election, how would that be done exactly?
Maybe I put that poorly; I was meaning that he would support a people's vote on the terms of Brexit if his party backed it (which it does, overwhelmingly) in comparison to May who is hell-bent on pushing it through regardless of her party's opinion. I wasn't talking about the possibility of a general election, sorry if I made that confusing.

The deal the government have managed to get is exactly the same as we have currently only we lose any say in how the EU functions.
Looks like it's official, Facepunch is going to outlive its country of origin.
