I have two questions regarding texturing models. I have found the answer to one of these questions a couple years ago on the old Facepunch forums but I can't find it now. First, I am trying to have a sort of overlay over a model. A main, clean texture is applied, and then I am trying to add scratches to show wear over time without completely overriding the original texture. Is there any way to achieve this? I think this is more of a Lua question than a modelling one. Second, I am trying to make only a portion of a model color-able. This is for Garry's Mod . I want to have most of the prop maintain its color and have other portions be white so I can have one prop and just change color information on it depending on what its function is or what it contains.
