No doubt the movie helped, even tho it was a p bad biopic
I mean, "Is this the real life, is this just fantasy?" seems to only apply more and more nowadays.
I thought it was pretty good, unless there were facts it got wrong?
I thought it felt pretty rushed and sanitised(though they explored Freddy more than I expected) but I wouldn't say it was awful. Some stuff they moved around timeline wise for "drama" purposes but it also makes the film feel really small
It wasn't really true to Freddie much at all and didn't get his character right. It felt more like an over glorified "Behind the Greatest Hits" than an actual deep dive in to Freddie Mercury's life.
I enjoyed the movie for what it was
I would've appreciated a more in depth look into Freddie, but what it had was great, with maybe the exception of how his sexuality was handled.
Bohemian definitely deserves the praise it gets though, cool it see it back on the charts again
