The NRA Has Killed Free Coffee for Employees

The National Rifle Association is doing away with free coffee and water coolers for employees at its Fairfax, Virginia, headquarters — a cost-cutting move that has NRA insiders “freaking out,” The Trace has learned.
“The whole building was freaking out,” said one former employee who remains in contact with current staffers. Three other sources familiar with the gun group’s operations confirmed the story to The Trace.
The coffee cutback is the just latest indication that the NRA is hurting for cash. Membership revenue declined by $35 million last year, and the NRA recently rolled out its second dues increase in as many years. In May, the gun group sued Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, claiming that his state’s zealous regulatory efforts against its Carry Guard insurance program had cost the NRA “tens of millions of dollars” in lost revenue, legal fees, and other damages. (A federal judge recently ruled that the suit can go forward.)
The true sign of an organization struggling.
If only the coffee machine had a gun
All it takes is a good coffee with a gun.
idk guys I heard these "employees" who are whining about their lost coffee are actually crisis actors
it was taken away by those damn liberals over having a shoulder thing that goes up

3D PRINTERS FIND WAY TO HAVE EXTENDED MAGAZINES IN REGULAR PISTOLS CIRCUMVENTING THE USELESS LAW SET BY LIBERALS!
Another innocent life taken by senseless gun violence
My bosses make 100's of thousand annually and they don't pay for our coffee either.
if they cut the free coffee/tea/hot chocolate at my work i'd probably freak out too tbh
No point in working in an office that doesn't provide free coffee at a minimum.. it only shows how little they actually value their workforce.
I think the NRA will be alright without coffee, they've still got all of their ARs and bushmasters and kalashnikovs and 9mm pistols and heavy duty humvees and auto arousal ejaculators and most
importantly: blades, and a lot of them. They never really know when someone on the battlefield might run out of ammo and they have to shift gear from demonstrating themselves as a member of the
National Rifle Association to the National Ricocheting-bullets-with-my-epic-katana Association. The recent inclusion of older weaponry has boosted donations and memberships.
This is how entire companies die
Hundreds of Thousands isn't really that much on the business scale; your company probably isn't doing the best either.
If the cost of coffee -- which scales roughly proportionally to the cost of payroll -- is considered an unjustifiable expense your organization is fucked.
Yeah, can confirm that in office buildings if the employees lose their coffee they're quickly lose their fucking minds
The idea of someone having both the kettle and the mug on their desk is cracking me up.
"The head of the NRA will see you now." and when you walk in he's wearing black gloves and pouring coffee from gun kettle into a gun mug. "Have a seat. Take it easy, I don't wan't you to feel like you're under the gun" *laughs maniacally*
If only they hadn't smashed all their Keurig machines they might still have coffee
A few hundred K is what they get annually in tax-free revenue for their own use.
The entire gain of the business is around $1-3 million annually during 2015-2017, where the number of people working is me, 3 others like me who get paid between $1850-2300 a month, and the bosses (meaning at least 4 other that I've met of their family around the office that are probably on the payroll) equaling to just 8 people.
Plus about a 150 interpreters of different languages each of who get paid anywhere between $40-1900 a month for doing the work which the bosses use to bill clients.
What sucks is this also mean that the NRA will most likely have to cut back on Eddy Eagle and NRA Firearm Museum exhibits.
Coffee is a liberal invention to soyboy NPCs into cucks anyway
While I'm not a huge fan of the NRA ILA (Their lobbying wing) I really hope this won't effect their legitimate educational side. I was in a youth rifle league and we'd send in targets for certifications and medals from the NRA for marksmanship as well as training on safe firearm handling. I think everyone in the U.S should know how to safely handle a firearm just because there's so many of them in private ownership and even if someone doesn't want to take up hunting/sports shooting/the hobby it's still good to know how to be safe around a firearm.
Espresso - a crime of passion
Double Espresso (Doppio) - a double-murder against an idiot
Short Macchiato - a murder of a Mexican who's vertically challenged
Ristretto - a killing of a man who has a particular taste for classical music and time signatures.
If the NRA weren't so politically minded this wouldn't really be an issue. I feel that the issue of firearm's safety would be better handled by an organization that could focus entirely on promoting safety without delving into politics. Unfortunately, the NRA seems to be the biggest organization promoting this.
How to be safe around a gun that isnt yours:
Dont touch it
True, but "abstinence" with guns it's pretty much on par with abstinence sex ed and staying drug-free by telling kids weed will kill you.
Actually digging into proper gun safety is what should happen.
Hey aren't these the same guys who helped push the '94 AWB?
Fuck the NRA
More than anything else, their donations will be down because there is a Republican in office. People assume that it's safer for gun rights with an R in the White House. Though Trump has banned more about guns in 2 years than Obama did in 8.
Yeah and republicans are the party of Lincoln
