Does that mean he's public domain?
Hard for me to feel anything due to what Disney is today.
A company that still brings joy and happiness to kids and adults every year? Oh wow you're right. They're a business to make money and make people happy by any means necessary.
You obviously don't grasp it don't you
Then explain. You might not agree with how Disney runs their business but that doesn't mean it's wrong.
Do your own research into their shit business practices and anti-consumer practices. Plenty of articles and evidence; It's not my job to educate you. You're sitting on a computer I'm pretty sure you know how to use google by now hopefully.
If someone asks you to explain a point, pouting like a child and going 'you look it up' is not the right answer.
Lol okay. Great argument.
So you both expect to be spoon fed like children instead of taking the initiative to do your own research, claiming the burden of proof (Even though threads have existed here itself on the topic of disney's shit practices) is on me when you are the ones doubting established facts, am I getting this right? Is that a fair summarization? Gotcha
You're the one who brought it up and you're the one saying Disney is evil so yes, the burden of proof is on you to show us why you think they're evil. But hey, if being a smug fuckwit in response is valid to you, I don't think we should expect much.
To be fair, you were the one making the original claim. Thus, the burden of proof is on your end yes. At least if you want to be taken seriously.
"Fuck facts YOU tell us why"
You're gonna have a hard time around here if you refuse to back statements up on request.
You didn't present any facts. Or anything else.
I've been here for over a decade lol Again, I'm not a teacher/search engine/librarian.
Neither is anyone else here. You come with a claim, and people ask if you can back the claim up. Here's your options: 1 - Back the claim up with examples or sources 2 - Don't back the claim up, because you're not really interested in taking the argument further 3 - Get angry at people for DARING to question you You chose 3. It's the dumb choice.
Not really, I don't believe in enabling behavior that doesn't nurture ones own ability to apply their critical thinking skills and perform their own research. We can agree to disagree and that's fine. However that is my position and I won't be changing it.
Yes, we can agree that you don't know how an argument works.
Now I'm imagining a court run by storm12230 where the prosecution just folds its arms and thinks the accused should explain why he's guilty instead.
I don't think you understand how dumb this is
Disney heard you and immediately gave their lawyers cutting edge wearable exoskeletons and super portable handheld weapons of mass destruction and deployed them over every corner of the world.
You make the claim you back it up quit being a baby about it and show the 'facts' already
You actually spent more time whining about giving your thoughts to backup your opinion than it would've taken to just give your thoughts to back up your opinion, lol. I'm not going to tell you the time difference between the two though, you can look that up yourself.
This thread is a fucking masterclass in how not to get your argument across to people.
Why did you make an argument and refuse to cite sources? If I told my instructors and professors to use Google themselves in my works cited page, I would have never gotten past highschool/secondary school. Yes, Disney has done a lot of shady stuff in past years, including claiming all of its artist's work as its property (including stuff made off hours or out of office), relentlessly chasing down copyright infractions, unprecedented horizontal integration, as well as actively bending legislature to suit its own needs, including public domain. Disney has also continued to inspire a new generation of artists, animators, and storytellers. They have continued to make incredible animated works as well as host one of the most popular theme parks in the western world. Their work has become a huge part of our contemporary culture. Their business practices certainly leave a whole lot to be desired. However, this doesn't nearly do enough to justify them as the corporate evil that you're painting them as.
You haven’t made any claims for us to look up? You just said that based on what you’ve heard, didn’t expect to be challanged, and are now too unsure to say anything specific.
Or, you could just quickly and to the best of your ability explain why Disney is scummy and include a couple of convenient links or something. I'm not even building a case here, but you've got to seek some effort. Disney is a big business trying to make as much money and keep up the show, with their integrity and practices questioned sometimes by critics all around. They are not purely evil though, except when they back down on MCU movies teased as R-rated and make them PG-12 instead.
As you made the claim initially, the burden of proof falls on you. You don't make an argument and then tell somebody else to do the work, you make the argument and present your evidence. Maybe you should have googled this before you started so you'd know, you have access to a computer right it shouldn't be my job to tell you this.
so where can i watch the film, is it released or what
