Rammstein's New Album Is 'Almost Finished', Guitarist Richard Kr..
New Rammstein Album Mixed in December, Three Year Tour Confirmed
Rammstein to Begin Mixing New Album; Three
Speaking in a recent interview with United Rock Nations, Rammstein guitarist Richard Kruspe has shared the new informations about upcoming album. He confirmed that Rammstein’s new album is “almost finished”. They’re hoping to release that album in early 2019.
"So, music-wise, I think it’s richer when it comes to harmonies and melodies. It was also important to me that we kind of step up, music-wise, in a way. It’s almost like Rammstein 3D, I would describe it."
Very excited for this, been almost 10 years since LIFAD. Gonna go see them at Milton Keynes next year, potentially Berlin as well. Hearing a properly produced version of Ramm4 will be sick as well
!!!!!
very excited
cool i'm going for Milton Keynes too, let's bang ok
These motherfuckers are geniuses.
Call me a sourpuss but I sincerely hope Ramm4 isn't on the album because it strikes me as supremely lazy. It lacks the punch something like Rammlied has. Still looking forward to it, though. I hope Mein Land was a sign of things to come, I love that song.
I would've gone to see them live but 1, it was sold out fast, 2, the tickets were expensive and I've been spoiled by cheap concerts and 3, last time I saw them was actually really disappointing.
I have this weird prophetic premonition of the sort of shit that Rammstein/members of Rammstein are going to do. I accurately foresaw that Till would do the moonwalk and I also accurately predicted that they would make a song using their own song titles.
Honestly I am hoping for more shit like... well what they are usually the best at really.
Engel is one of my favorite songs from them so something that is atmospheric could be nice. Or something that is hardhitting like Ich Tu Dir Weh. Rosenrot is probably my least favorite album from them so something like that would not be preferred by me personally, so a second one would not make me a crappy hamper.
What's weird about Rosenrot is that not only can you really tell that it's a leftovers album, it doesn't have a middle ground. The good songs are REALLY good and the rest just doesn't work. Which is the same problem I have with LIFAD, strangely.
While there's plenty of their softer work I like, their heavier side is undoubtedly their strongest suit. And the more the new album has of that, the happier I will be. Also, we need more of their awesome music videos.
In terms of their softer side their very first album has good shit such as Seemann and Das Alte Leid.
I do agree about the music videos. I am not the largest fan of the one they did for Mein Herz Brennt, also considering that they had serious issues with it and basically scrapped an entire artist's work just to replace it with a different one and in my opinion it ended up being a bit too on the nose compared to their usual abstract symbolism/half joking manner that they use.
Something more metaphorical or less grounded would have been ten times better.
Keine Lust has a really cool music video where they are rocking out in Fat Suits. Mein Teil is a perfect example of how to do a music video for one of their darker tracks. It's fucked up but it never explicitly shows anything.
Oh yeah, Seemann is my jam. And Alter Mann is song I always sing along to. But their heavy work is just so good.
And yes, people. This is every bit as funny as it sounds. The song proper starts around 1:45.

The way Till points his finger right before turning to the mic is 10/10 meme material. I also really appreciate that they included an instrumental prelude jam to the main song at the beginning of the video as build up.
Not a huge fan of Rammstein, but unless I'm mistaken their lineup has remained the exact same since their conception which is wicked cool.
If one of their music videos is to be believed Flake actually murdered everyone so maybe we are now dealing with clever imposters.
Yeah but if the other music videos are to be believed, Flake has died something like 4-5 times, so it balances out.
That's what he wants you to think

Jesus christ has it really been that long? Feeling old
This is great news. I owe a lot to Rammstein for their formation of a lot of my music tastes way back when LIFD was only a year or two old. They introduced me to the NDH genre as a whole, and from that, I was motivated to learn German, and from that, I've made quite a few friends and exposed myself to a lot of new culture.
And if you like Rammstein, check out the artists in the same genre, Rammstein is basically the only band like this that has any substantial popularity outside of Germany, but it has been going strong, especially as of late. Here are a few of my favourites.
Eisbrecher
Oomph
Unzucht
Erdling
OST+FRONT
Also Megaherz which the Eisbrecher dude was formerly a part of I think:
