If they couldn't talk to the developers, what actual news can the bring forth that hasn't been viewed by every fan of the series over the past 20 years?
I see this more as a celebration of the games than a documentary and how these games brought people together and how they evolved.
I would've loved to hear some insights from the original developers but it looks like they just don't give a fuck about it anymore so the community has to do it for them, like they always did.
At least they didnt talk to zoe quinn this time
