Why not just like...answer his questions as best you can and attempt to be non-confrontational? If Jim Acosta gives you a hard question, you just answer it, because Trump is perfectly honest and innocent, and if he refuses to give up the microphone, politely ask him what you failed to answer, and, because you are perfectly innocent, ANSWER THAT. Just tell him that he got two questions so he can wait for his turn again, and you can just not call on him for the rest of the conference.
