For real. As much as I love both Deadpool movies, I never understood the idea that Deadpool had to be R rated - given that, apart from the violence (the comic rating system is even more lax on violence than the American movie rating system, for some weird reason), the comics aren't either. Seriously, censored language and nudity have been a staple of humor in Deadpool comics for quite some time. And given that the second movie wasn't able to feature the romance element at all due to scheduling conflicts (and that was the main reason I feel the R rating was justified for the first: it was the best romance ever in a comic book movie), I don't feel they're taking much away by editing it down to PG-13. Especially because they're putting actual effort into making it a whole new film.
