Need some recommendations for some headphones as a gift

I have some good quality headphones, and have used them for about two years, but I'm fucking fed up with how uncomfortable they are after like three minutes. So I'm looking for a
new pair for a holiday gift. Prime objective is comfortability, budget's 75-100 US dollars, not wireless, don't really care about mic. Don't really care about brand either.
Audio-Technica ATH-M50x if you're able to save a little more money
Other than that Sony MDR7506
Sennheisers headphones (HD 598-599) usually go on sale on Black Friday for under $100, so it's best to watch for those and other headphone sets
These are the ones I already own

Got them for free, and they're good but they hurt so fucking much, I wish there was a way I could make them better and save money since they are legit good.
All I can tell you is that my HD 598SE feels comfortable around my ears and I've been using them for 3 years.
Probably the closest you're going to get in regards to getting the same quality as your headphones (in terms of frequency response) with comfortability are the HD 6XX:

but those are around $200
For your case, I'll would just wait to see if the 599 goes on sale on Black Friday:

If it doesn't, the 559 and 579 aren't bad choices either
I found out I have some spare on-ears and I'm gonna try them for a few days.
I've been using these Open Ear headphones for a while now. You can hear quite clearly with them and they're fairly durable.
Wouldn't really recommend for travel but they have a pretty long cord.

I have a pair of $50 Sennheisers that I've been using for like 5 years and they still work, so if that's any indication, Sennheiser is quality stuff.
