more love and attention was put into this video than valve putting anything into the half-life universe for the past 6 years.
That was my Gus the forklift driver player model near the end.
Fuck me man, I played the demo back when i was like around 2 years old, holy shit this series and community was just such a defining moment for my tastes in literally everything growing up.
Glad Master Sword: Continued was in there. Sad part is no one really plays it anymore and the_wall is really hard to solo, locking you out of a lot of cool shit unless you have a group of high level players.
Spiderm4N has correctly identified all of the mods in this comment. There's also this Google document in which I was publicly keeping track of suggestions.
oh man science and industry. i miss that mod so much
Seeing Brainbread again made me feel emotions
Seeing They Hunger reminded me of the not-to-be sequel.
go on
it's nice that new mods were included. I'm glad that half life modding is showing no signs of slowing down
I can only hope that, if you do a similar concept for Half-Life 2's 20th anniversary (in only 6 years, oh god) you include Mystery Combat Men in the montage.
mocap animations on goldscr models is always going to look hilarious, the contrast between the simple models and the "accurate" animation paths makes it look so funky
G-Man spinning that briefcase made me lose it.
I now have a need to replay a lot of half-life mods
is this that last dance the scientist was doing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9r3pybkWgw
https://media.alienwarearena.com/media/Gordon_sketch-half-life.jpg Sven Coop was some of the best of days
If I remember correctly the gonome had some kinda dance exactly like that made as a reference or something, I remember seeing it a lot browsing models on it in model viewer and stuff, and was made as far back as base opfor.
