Can you please sadly, stop making people so insufferable right now.
I'm dealing with it with humor. Half-Life 2 was the first game I ever paid money for on Steam, the fact the community is doing infinitely more to celebrate the anniversary of one of the greatest game franchises in history is a bad joke.

How can one company care so little about what made them as big as they are today
Marphy Black's video really made it hurt, fuck you Valve.
Apparently you can make this stuff up stop the clickbaiting
Half-Life helped my sister get through a bad period when she was basically bedridden from illness, thanks for the fun times Valve.

Remember when Valve made quality award-winning games? A large chunk of which were single-player? I miss the good times.

Why would you think they don't give a shit? They've got to have valid reasons for leaving their player base behind in a sea of TF2 hats. Jokes aside, it's likely they wanted to make the next Half-Life an industry-shaping release, as the first and second games were. Over time, the pressure to create an amazing game had increased and they just weren't able to deliver. I seriously doubt that they don't care about Half-Life or the fans - quite the opposite to be honest, which makes the whole situation even shittier.
Half Life 3 could bomb harder than Duke Nukem Forever and it would still be less of an insult to the franchise's legacy than Artifact is.
what
yeah man tf2 could really use an update
Every time someone refers to Episode 3 as HL3 I shrink by an inch.

you guys have absolutey no self awareness, do you?
you think we dont know how sad we are? we feel it
This forum literally exists because of a HL2 mod and no other reason Thousands of us are here because we care about Garry's and most of all Valves work
You mean tens of us
Jokes on you, everyone is Garry's shitposting alt. You're the last remaining member
Probably because most of the people who made that game happen aren't part of the company anymore.
Thanks I was really wanting to get depressed as shit and drink it all away tonight
Look, I know this is serious, and it's sweet it helped her, but you're doing very well with ambiguity today, both intentionally and unintentionally.
No wonder that Valve don't say anything about Half Life. Garry's mod ruined the reputation of the HL games.
Eh?
Damn, not even a sale, giving away the first game for free, or promoting Half-Life mods and the community that made Half-Life such a hit years after it came out. There were so many great things they could have done that didn't involve Episode 3 and they chose to do nothing.
Not even close. Had it not been for Gmod we would never have gotten these beautiful pieces of art: http://www.screencuisine.net/hlcomic/ https://youtu.be/OHxyZaZlaOs https://youtu.be/l1SvvagUGuU
