To be honest though, I think Farage is the only reason UKIP used to do so well, as well as the fact that we were planned to stay in the EU. Farage was clever, funny, and personable, whereas the subsequent leaders have been dumb and openly racist. I don't agree with Farage politically, but he was undoubtedly good at politics.
UKIP has no purpose anymore. UKIP's name is entirely predicated on the purposes of leaving the EU, and we're doing that now, so...
Maybe with his first hand experience radicalising youths (and punching police officers) in the EDL he can also help advise on the far right gangs
