Labor, which holds government on a slim one-seat majority, is seeking a second term under Premier Daniel Andrews, and polls suggest his government will be re-elected. Opposition Leader Matthew Guy needs to win seven additional seats for the Coalition to take government — eight, if you no longer count Morwell as a Coalition seat, because MP Russell Northe quit the Nationals and is now an independent. Of 4.1 million Victorians registered to vote, almost 1.4 million cast their ballot before polling day at early voting centres. There were also more than 250,000 postal votes sent. The Greens want the balance of power This election could go three ways: the Andrews Labor Government returned, a Matthew Guy government elected, or a hung parliament in which the Greens or independents hold the balance of power. The Greens hold three seats in the lower house (Melbourne, Northcote and Prahran). If they are able to make any gains, such as in Brunswick, Richmond or Albert Park, they could be the kingmakers in the next parliament. Greens leader Samantha Ratnam has said her party may seek a ministry in a Labor minority government. ... Just voted, woop woop. Hopefully Labor win, though I don't think my hope is needed after the Liberals shot themselves in the foot.

I snuck into the post office just before closing yesterday to send my postal vote. Hopefully it wasn't too late but my seat is a pretty safe stronghold anyway.
So a Independent won seat I heard. But still this look kinda bad for seeing Two-Party-like system still define there, but a least same time that are mostly third parties that isn't Greens most gain more votes regarding they didn't win any seat. Including newly Victorian Socialists.
Well lease only one seat is survived this mediocre election.
Current seat counts in the lower house are: Labor: 52 Liberals/Nationals: 24 Others (not even including the Greens): 2 Seats still in doubt: 10 45 seats are required for a majority in the lower house. Projections for the upper house: Labor: 19 Liberals/Nationals: 10 Greens: 1 Others: 10 21 seats are required for a majority in the upper house.
Gotta feel bad for the Greens though.
I'm not too familiar with the Greens in Victoria but from what I've read they were pretty scatterbrained and contradictory this election. Apparently one was campaigning for sex worker reform that sex workers didn't want? I'm sure someone from Victoria would know better.
