how would an offline raider have removed the code locks from storage chests(they were not destroyed). they remained in what was left of my base empty, no locks.
You could have been inside raided (your team did it)
They could have guessed the code
The locks were never "locked"
they could have placed down new chests
Solo
Not likely(i choose codes like you would for a atm card)
Confident they were(red light on)
In the exact locations? Why? They would have brought or crafted new ones? Don't understand that.
I have done that many times. also replaced walls ,doors, ceilings and windows. really freaks the raided people especially if its a team and you replace the locks, they think a team mate has changed them.
They raided you put on new doors to protect from Counter Raiders then before leaving removed the locks so not to grief you.
Doors were not replaced. They emptied all the code locked boxes. The boxes were in the same positions. Destroyed the TC, workbench, research table, repair bench.
When I first came back to rust I had a similar strange occurrence about 3 or 4 months back. Some guys took off my wood lock while I was in the base even though it was locked. I took off the metal door and ran to another 2x2 and when I came back they had put the same door skin and a new wood lock on the door even though I still had access to the TC which was blocked off from them.
So it was like they took off a wood lock even though I never made a key and they guessed a codelock combo but didn't change it or grief it or do anything to the TC. They just took off a lock and replaced a door with the same skin as the one I had. It was super strange and I'll never understand what happened there.
