Games are too expensive to make!
Cowboys love hig hard throbbing whoppers
Every day we get closer and closer to verification cans being a reality.
the way it's worded it made me think that it's part of the game code itself, but you're basically just scanning pictures of your screen onto your mobile phone and it all happens on burger king's end Now Bass Pro Shops have to get in on this so I can go buy new fishing equipment by collecting 3 rare fish and some fuckin twigs
Just wait until read dead online launches
Can't you just use the same image for every person and then there'd be an unlimited amount of free whoppers? Unless there's a code attached there or something.
I mean, I think it's a kinda neat way to advertise. If more ads were like this and the FF15 cup noodle quest I wouldn't mind. Make them fun, optional, and non-intrusive.
Theoretically yeah, but the same goes for pretty much every coupon for any fast food chain. It only becomes a problem if it's the same person using copies of the same coupon every time.
why swedish only tho?
varför måste de göra det här? I want free hamburgers!
That's pretty funny imo, basically the exact opposite of your typical video game cross-marketing promotions (ie buying Mountain Dew® for XP boosts)
Shoutouts to the Swedish higher up at Rockstar with the power and influence to do his homeboys a very weird semi-favor
Tbh relevant product placement in games are much better than fictional brand #49327 that some artist have to cook up in 2 days.
i dont see how an ad for burger king is relevant to 1899
It is pretty relevant to my tummy today Burgers do exist in 1899 right?? At least the presentation fits within the period.
Rockstar: Makes realistic horse cock physics for immersion,. Also Rockstar: Howdy, boy i sure do love that Burger King BurgerTM.
I'm more interested in how this can be exploited, Is there some unique code you need to scan? or do you just take a photo of your TV screen
The exact moment hamburgers entered american culture and stomachs is debatable at best, but the time period fits somewhat. The big commercial burger chains however are much later.
