Without the hippy movement and anti-war rhetoric being as strong as it was, and the drug revolution, this will just be another festival
If King Gizzard aren't playing this festival will be worthless. I can't think of anybody better to show the progress of 50 years worth of music. Of coarse this will probably be a big corporate bullshit thing where every dick and harry you've heard of is going to be there.
Yeah but we've got the Anti-Trump movement, about the closest thing to come to the hippy movement since then. Plus, weed is being legalized everywhere at a pretty decent pace, so I'd call that a revolution. All we need is decent music, none of the bands from the 90's roster, and we should be good.
Get Levitation to handle the lineup, they know what they are doing.
I hope they get Jimmy and the Monsters to play
