It seems to be a weird trend in Nordic/Germanic countries to let rapists of easy. Especially weird in Sweden when we hear both government and media talk about how bad rape is and how men need to learn to not rape and stuff but then they go around and give light sentences for rape anyway.
As punishment they should be forced to dress up as hyper feminine schoolgirls in public for 10 years.

I agree that the sentence given to them is possibly too low, but hell, what the hell are you guys thinking?
Being a victim of sexual abuse at a young age, the sentencing is trash, but that seems to be a trend for rapists and child molesters nowadays. Good on the prosecution for pushing 7 years but it will most likely not happen, with the whole modern swing of sexual abuse awareness, harassment and whatnot, you'd think stricter sentencing would be soon-to-follow but alas.
I really do feel for the victims as it can completely destroy someone's life, especially at a young age as it most likely will haunt them for the rest of their lives if left unchecked and without therapy or coping skills, the mental impact is truly devastating.
Here's hoping the favour falls in for the prosecution, it's not much for the victims but it's at least something.
Raping should get you a maximum sentence. It's every bit as despicable a crime as first-degree murder - in fact, I'd argue it's worse.

Let's say a girl clearly says "stop now" in the middle of sex with someone, and that someone (presumably a male) doesn't pull out immediately, but instead after about 10-30 seconds. What then, a maximum sentence of +5 years?
